Participants of the COSAC conference – committees on European affairs of EU member states and on European integration of partner countries and candidates for EU membership, which took place in Copenhagen on 1-2 December, adopted a final document. In it, they expressed their firm and comprehensive support for Ukraine in its fight against russian aggression and on its path to European Union membership.

On 24 November 2025, the Fourth Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform was held in the Riksdag, the Parliament of Sweden. The forum brought together representatives of nearly 70 parliamentary delegations from around the world. The key theme of the meeting was the discussion of a just end to russia’s aggression, the de-occupation of Crimea, and the establishment of lasting peace.

The work of the Fourth Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, officially opened by Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, together with Andreas Norlén, Speaker of the Swedish Parliament, has concluded.

This was emphasised by Ivanna Klympush-Tsyntsadze, Chair of the Committee on Ukraine's Integration into the EU, during her working visit to the United Kingdom.

The last meeting of the «Coalition of the Willing» clearly demonstrated two main tracks concerning support for Ukraine. The first is financing and creating a legal mechanism for using frozen russian assets. The second is security guarantees. A new working group has been created, headed by France and the United Kingdom, which will deal with this issue.

The Verkhovna Rada appealed to the parliaments and governments of EU and NATO member states, the European Parliament, various international organisations, and the global community to increase pressure on russia due to its systematic crimes against journalists.

Ambassador of the European Union, Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Katarína Mathernová handed over the European Commission's annual report on EU enlargement to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine during a meeting with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, First Vice-Speaker Oleksandr Korniienko and Deputy Speaker Olena Kondratiuk. According to the report, Ukraine has shown the highest dynamics over the past three years.

On the eve of German Unity Day, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine, Heiko Thoms.

The Ukrainian parliament hosted a meeting that was another confirmation of the unity of Ukraine and the European Union. A delegation of high-ranking officials from the national parliaments of EU countries and the European Parliament arrived in Kyiv to discuss further military, political and financial support for Ukraine, coordination of security activities, and the next steps on the path to European integration.

On 8 September, at the invitation of the Bundestag, which is friendly to Ukraine, a meeting was held between a Ukrainian delegation headed by Oleh Bondarenko, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, and the Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity, and Lorenz Gösta Beutin, Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on Ecology, Climate, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety.

The seminar "Improving Parliamentary Efficiency: The Role of Research Services in the Process of European Integration" was held in Kyiv to mark the third anniversary of the establishment of the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

On the sidelines of the G7 Parliamentary Summit taking place in Ottawa, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola.
